  • Noah Bender Betty was a wonderful lady. I was hired at her Walmart in the summer of 2004 and still there today. Every morning I clocked in and stopped at the jewelry counter to say hello and see how she was doing. She got her picture with me a couple times as I played Santa every holiday season, and during the bad winter seasons, I always helped her with her car if needed. Betty was always good to fool around with too. I remember when I became a homeowner in 2009, I went up to her with an upset look and said, you're not going to believe what just happened to me! She was standing there with her arms crossed and said, what now!? Then when I told told her, she gave me a big excited smile and a hug. I found out about her passing from a coworker right as I returned from a vacation, and was shocked. I will miss her dearly.
