Daniel Andrews

January 24, 1936 - October 31, 2008

Daniel W. Andrews, 72, of Batavia and formerly of St. Charles passed away October 31, 2008 at his residence. Dann was born January 24, 1936 in Geneva the son of Roy C. and Katheleen (nee. Gunnon) Andrews. Dann was a graduate of Geneva High School. He served in the United State Army for 2 years and then recalled for the Berlin Crisis in 1960. He was employed as a printer for Jefferson Smurfit Corporation for over 40 years. Dann was a wonderful father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his step-daughter Debra Wyatt and her children Sarah and Randy Wyatt of Denver, CO; and his sister Pauline Ludke of Batavia; his three nephews Shane (Susanne) Sauer, Beau (Deborah) Sauer and Matthew Ludke; and his grand-nephews Beau Sauer II, Brett Andrew Sauer, Jeffery Daniel Sauer and Tyler Joseph Sauer. Visitation will be held 4-8 P.M. Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave. (Route 31 and Main St.) Batavia, IL. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 3, 2008 with prayers from the funeral home before processing to Holy Cross Catholic Church 2300 West Main Street Batavia, IL to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, IL.
