James Joseph Kelly, Sr. 67, of St. Charles passed away suddenly at his home. He was born August 21, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Joseph and Joan (Lauer) Kelly. He was united in marriage to Mary Jane Kahler on May 9, 1981 in Riverside, IL.
Jim loved his career, he was employed by Bridgestone for 27 years as the Director of National Accounts. His other passion was his many dogs especially his current dogs Cooper and Foxie and his grand-dogs Oliver and Logan. He enjoyed studying American military history and all types of automobiles.
He is survived by his wife Jane of St. Charles; two children James (Fiancée Cristen) of St. Charles, and Colleen (Kevin) Noe of Sycamore; his mother Joan Kelly of Mt. Prospect, one sister Kathleen (David) Combs of Northbrook, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street (Three blocks west of the Fox River One Block south of Route 64), St. Charles, IL.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 24, 2017 at St. Patrick Parish 6N487 Crane Road St. Charles, IL. He will lie in state from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Church.
