Arden Kyle Drenthe

January 10, 1951 - June 14, 2017

Arden K. Drenthe, 66, of Batavia and 30 years in Wheaton, died June 14, 2017 at his home.  The beloved husband of Barbara (nee Donckers); loving father of Michelle Failing, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Drenthe, Mary (Christopher) Ginder and Thomas (Nicole) Drenthe; adored grandfather, 'Papa", of eight, Angelina, Aidan, Lily, Emily, Makayla, Anne, Dylan Rose, and Margaret; fond brother of the late Ronald (Dale) Drenthe, and Eldon (Jean) Drenthe, Lowell (Marie) Drenthe, Craig (Sarah) Drenthe, Sandy Lancaster, and Darlene (Chris) Klimkiewicz; and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 19, 2017 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street, (Three Blocks West of The Fox River, One Block South of Route 64) St. Charles, IL.  Funeral services will begin with prayers at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, before processing to Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary 1840 Church Road Aurora, IL.  Entombment will follow the funeral Mass in Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton. 630-584-2000 or
