Donald E. Isbell

January 24, 1939 - December 30, 2018

Donald E. Isbell, 79, of Aurora passed away Sunday December 30, 2018 at home. He was born January 24, 1939 to the late Harold and Edna Mae Isbell (nee Taylor).

Donald enjoyed the finer things in life including, good wine, great food, and always had a book in hand. He taught for 35 years with the majority of those years at Oswego High School. He enjoyed his times on Magician Lake in Michigan. Don was a very perceptive person who knew how to connect with almost anybody, always offering a hand where he could.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his two siblings Richard D. (Imy) Isbell and Carole (Joe) Parillo, his great friends Denny Parker and Tom Pomotto, his special friends; Mary Williams, Mike and Kim, Brenda and Larry, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held 5:00P.M. – 8:00P.M., Saturday January 12, 2019 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209S. Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.
