Thomas Allen Swanson

December 2, 1944 - April 18, 2019

Thomas Allen Swanson, 74, of Batavia passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019.  Tom was born December 2, 1944, in Evanston, Illinois, the son of Ollie and Evy Swanson.

Tom was raised in Batavia and graduated from Batavia High School.  Tom enjoyed spending his free time outdoors.  If you didn’t find Tom in his garage tinkering with something or socializing with friends you would find him outdoors fishing, hunting or gardening.

He is survived by his devoted wife Carol (nee Fagiano), loving daughter Laura Swanson, and cherished grandchildren Kayla Swanson and Kasey Swanson, as well as other family and friends that he loved dearly.  Tom is preceded in death by his parents, his son Ken, his brother Peter , nephew Eric.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave., Batavia, IL.  Interment will be held private.
