Susan E. Williams

January 23, 1956 - September 20, 2019

Susan E. Williams, 63, of St. Charles, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, following a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born January 23, 1956 in Chicago, IL, the beloved daughter of Ralph and Betty (nee Hendron) Jungles.  She was united in marriage to Carl H. Williams on October 2, 1976, in Lombard, IL.

Sue lived a life of service to the Lord, acting as a leader in various local Awana clubs, a dorm parent for missionary families in Venezuela, a member of the Sowers RV ministry, and much, much more. Her passion was her salvation in Jesus Christ, as well as spending time with her family. She and Carl spent the last five years traveling the country full-time in an RV, visiting their children and grandchildren frequently.

Sue is survived by her loving husband, Carl; her five children, Joan (Joel) Bennett, Kim (Kent) Germaine, Scott (Kristen) Williams, Pamela Williams, Steven Williams; and six grandchildren: McKenna and Lianna Germaine, Roman and Reese Bennett, and Blaise and Thatcher Williams.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Dooley.

Visitation will be held from 9:30am until 11:00am, Friday, September 27, 2019 at Riverside Community Church, 37W130 Crane Road, St. Charles, IL.  A service to celebrate her life will follow the visitation at the church at 11:00am.  A private interment will be held at Whitney Cemetery in Campton Hills.

She was one of our "Fearsome Foursome" with Kyle and Laurie. I remember she liked "Dark Shadows" on at 3p after school.
