Brenda Sue Harrison

September 21, 1950 - October 6, 2019

Brenda Sue Harrison, 69, of Aurora and formerly of Batavia passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Aurora.  Brenda was born September 21, 1950 in Fisk, MO the daughter of Arthur and Bessie (Propes) Dabbs.

Brenda had a warm, compassionate and caring personality who was known affectionately as “Grandma” by the many children, friends and family whom all loved her.    

She is survived by her children, Sheila Armstrong of Aurora, Sarah (John) Button of Montgomery and Donald (Kimberly) Harrison of Kankakee, IL; six grandchildren, Adam, Daniel, Andrew, Jacob, Eli, and Isaac; a great-granddaughter Rosemary; three brothers, Kenneth (Lena) Dabbs, Vernon (Carol) Dabbs, and Bill (Linda) Dabbs; and her foster daughters, Jodie Blake and Karla Henze.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Donald Harrison, two sisters Mildred Watson, and May Marshall and a brother Donald Dabbs.

Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. following the visitation at the funeral home.  Interment will be in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, IL
