Jeremy L. Bertrand

March 30, 1975 - December 14, 2019

Jeremy L. Bertrand, 44, of North Aurora, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019.  Jeremy was born March 30, 1975 in Kankakee, IL the son of Rodney Bertrand and Karla (Dyer) Freeman. 

Jeremy was raised and a graduate of Herscher High School, where he excelled at football and wrestling.   Jeremy was a restaurant owner; he operated The Range in Batavia and currently was the owner of Noonan’s in North Aurora.  Jeremy loved sports, enjoyed bowling but most importantly had a passion for running his restaurants.

He is survived by his loving Brenda, his mother Karla Freeman and his father Rodney (Kathy) Bertrand; a sister Jamie (Steve) Spero, brother Brandon (Jillian) Bertrand; his uncle Karlan (Penny) Dyer; two special cousins Brock and Nathan Dyer, and his aunt Shirley (Dave) Jette. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Karlan “Yogi” Dyer, maternal grandmother Dolores Rusk, and his paternal grandparents.   

Visitation will be held 2:00 P.M until 6:00 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2019 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Brenda to be used towards funeral cost.
