Joseph David Troc

June 16, 1948 - August 25, 2020

Joseph D. Troc, 72, of Aurora passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at his residence.  Joseph was born June 16, 1948 in Chicago, IL the son of Albin and Pearl Elaine (Mouser) Troc. 

Joe served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Campaign from August 13, 1968 until March 18, 1970 when he was honorably discharged.  Joe was employed for many years at the Illinois Bell Phone Company prior to retirement.  He had a successful career because of his knowledge and love for computer technology.  Joe will be remembered as a loving, kind man who enjoyed helping others, his generosity will be never forgotten. Joe was a man that loved his tools. He was always finding projects in and out of the house; no job was too big. 

He is survived by his mother, Elaine Troc, two daughters Vanessa (Bill) Kloska and Elysia (Chris) Pritchett; eight grandchildren, Alexis, Nora, Austin, Quentin, Bryson Kloska and Tyler, Joshua and Aryah Pritchett; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Albin Troc, a sister Yvonne Mokryzki, his niece Janine Mokryski, two grandchildren, Elliana and Victoria Kloska, and an Aunt Wanda Tracz. 

Visitation will be held 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M.  Committal services and military honors will be performed at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at 2:00 P.M.
