Dorothy Ann Van Acker

January 25, 1937 - November 5, 2020

Dorothy Ann Van Acker, 83, of Plato Center, IL passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Gove of Fox Valley where she has been a resident since 2011.  Dorothy was born January 25, 1937 in Elgin the daughter of Henry and Frances (Rau) Van Acker. 

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Cynthia Ziller; a sister, Alice Anne Van Acker, OP; a brother Wayne (Judith) Van Acker, and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Arthur Van Acker and Ruth Nunley. 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Thursday, November 12, 2020 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church 123 South County Line Road Maple Park, IL.  Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery in Maple Park.
