Carl W. Weise

December 15, 1946 - February 12, 2021

Carl W. Weise, 74, passed away early on February 12, 2021 at his home in St. Charles. He was born on December 15, 1946 in Chicago to Frank and Barbara (nee Zepp) Weise. He was united in marriage to Betty Jo Payne on March 25, 1994 in Wheaton.

Carl was very proud of his service. During his time in the Army, he grew a strong connection with those in his battalion. When his service was ended, he was able to keep in touch with his Army buddies, being a major contributor to planning yearly reunions. Outside of his service, he was an avid Chicago sports fan, except the White Sox. Being a grandfather brought true joy to his life. He did enjoy the time he spent with his grandchildren. He always made friends where he went and kept them for life. He is a loving husband, father, grandfather, sibling, and friend, who will be greatly missed.

Carl is survived by his wife Betty Jo Weise, his daughters: Kristie (Jayson) Blunck, Stephanie (Jason) Zuniga, Candice Widerski, and Caroline (Dustin) Kennedy, his grandchildren: Jacob Blunck, Cameron Memenga, Kaden Blunck, Xander Zuniga, and Benjamin Zuniga. He also leaves his loving sister Judi (Rich) Gardner.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents and his grandson Aiden Widerski.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 15, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home St. Charles 100 S. 3rd Street from 12:00 PM until 3:00PM. Funeral service will begin promptly at 3:00PM, also at Moss Family Funeral Home.
