Decker Oleg Cunningham

February 11, 1996 - February 11, 2021

Decker Oleg Cunningham, 25, of Batavia passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 11, 2021.  He was born February 11, 1996 in Russia the son of Kirk and Linda (Konrad) Cunningham. 

He was a graduate of Batavia High School, class of 2014.  Following high school, he joined the United States Marine Corp where he served until honorably discharged.  He was a kind man with a warm and generous personality who accepted everyone as they are.  He will be remembered for his piercing blue eyes and a Grand Canyon smile.  Family was very important to Decker, he loved being an uncle, and adored his parents and most importantly his sister. 

He is survived by his parents, a sister Ashley (Donald “D.J.”) Schoonover; a nephew Greyson and a niece Audree; maternal Grandmother Shirley Konrad; his God parents, George and Marcia McReynolds, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Kirk or Linda Cunningham proceeds will benefit his memorial services.
