James “Jim” Brian Lowe, 66 of Aurora formerly of Chicago passed away peacefully Saturday, March 20. 2021. Jim was born May 5, 1954, in Chicago, IL the son of Frederick Peter and Florence Vernetta ( nee Gribbens) Lowe. After 19 years, he was united in marriage to Joseph Nagy in 2015.
Jim was a LPN for many years working at Insurance Companies and Healthcare Facilities, his last employer was JourneyCare of Barrington where he was a hospice nurse. Jim had a unique personality, he was stubborn, bull headed, kind, caring, funny, and loving, he will be truly missed by all who had the fortune to have met him.
He is survived by his spouse Joe; his siblings, Maureen (Dennis) Smith, Frederick (Brigitte) Lowe, and Janice (Jack) Mocarski. His In-laws John (Barbara) Nagy, Barbara Mata, Judy (Jack) Horner, and the late Theresa (Charles) Whitt. Nephew and nieces; Bryan (Cheryl) Smith, Kevin Smith, Kathie Thomas, Andrea (Michael) Lodermeier, Karin Lowe, Anthony (Jamie) Mocarski, Joseph (Becky) Mocarski, Jack Mocarski, Mark Mocarski. Regina (Steven) Stark, Angelique (Dwayne) Mattison, Douglas (Christine) Nagy, Bernina Mata, Saul Mata, Peter Mata, Stephen Keef, Azur (Matt) Squillace, Kimberly Keef, Eric Keef, and Christopher (Ashley Robson) Nagy. Many Great Nieces and Nephews, cousins and friends, and by his beloved cats.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8 P.M. Friday March 26, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL. Due to CIOVID-19 occupancy requirements, funeral service will be held private, and will be an invitation only.
