Linda K. Dall

May 14, 1947 - February 22, 2012

Linda K. Dall (nee Hamlin), age 64, a former longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at her residence in Geneva. She was born May 14, 1947 in St. Charles.  While battling breast cancer, Linda still found the strength to volunteer a lot and assist with others in need. She also had a love for traveling, sewing, knitting and gardening. Most of all, she enjoyed doing anything with her grandchildren.  She is survived by her two daughters, Vicki Serrato of West Chicago and Ginger (Dave) Farley of Warrenville; four grandchildren, Shawna and Anthony Serrato and Shawn and Jacob Farley; and by her brother, William Hamlin of Forsyth, MO.  Linda is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Arleen Rooney.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the Free Methodist Church, 214 Walnut Street in St. Charles, where visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service. Interment will be private.

In appreciation for all their support during her battle with cancer, Linda had made a request that memorials be directed to Living Well Cancer Resource Center, 1803 W. State St., Geneva, IL 60134 or the Free Methodist Church.
