Carol J. Roethlisberger

January 11, 1938 - August 22, 2012

Carol Jean Roethlisberger, 74, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, IL. Carol was born on January, 11th, 1938 in Joliet, IL to Jess and Esther (nee Shepherd) Darnell. Carol was a member of St. Charles Women of the Moose. She enjoyed spending time with friends & family. She enjoyed the friendships she made at Carol Tower and the companionship of her cat, Boots.  Carol is Lovingly remembered by her Children, Ralph (Melinda) Morris of Wildrose, WI, Joyce (John) Scott of Saint Charles, IL,  Karen (Bud) Baker of Mountain Home, AR Edward (Heather) Roethlisberger of Mountain Home, AR; her brother Bay (Mary) Darnell; her sisters  Helen (Herb) Dixon, Betty Washer  Donnabell (Lee) Volt; grandchildren  Maranda,  Autumn, John III, Krystle, Michael, Derek, Stephanie,&  Orion; her great-grandchildren Zackary, Caleb, and Demetri; as well as her nieces and nephews and other relatives.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents Jess & Esther Darnell, her Brothers Harold, Elmo, Kenny, Roy, Teddy, & her Sister Lela Cooley.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 S. Third Street St. (three Blocks west of the river and one block south of Rt. 64) in Saint Charles.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.   Refreshments will be provided during the services.  Interment will be private.
