• Jan Hammel I'm so sorry for your loss. Doc was so wonderful. He was the reason I was able to succeed and move on to other things in my life and in my career. He made me laugh constantly and he is such a blessing! I have the fondest of memories of his wit, his empathy and just who he is/was. Slainte forever my friend. My heart hurts today!

• Kathy Maye Murphy Dear Angel, Devin, and Kailin, I am deeply saddened by Denny's passing. We had spoken recently, as you were in the process of moving, and he was encouraged by the progress of his treatment. Denny drew me in to music ministry at St. Leo's in Stamford during high school. Then we ended up in the Folk Group at St. James in Rocky Hill together after college--what are the chances of that? Our last few conversations were very spiritual and philosophical. Denny was at peace with his life and his illness. He had great faith, an awesome attitude, and a great sense of humor even until the end. I will truly miss him. I will call you soon. What I remember most is your honesty, encouragement, and sharing. Our common bond as believers and musicians… sharing that quick recording of our own worship music in Denver International Airport before parting ways. You will be missed. I never got to meet you in person, but felt as though I knew you by how much Doc spoke of you. I know Heaven is rejoicing to have added him to their ranks, but we are still saddened to not have him physically with us. May God bless you and keep.
