Donald E. Ebbert

July 14, 1932 - August 28, 2012

Donald E. Ebbert, 80 of Batavia passed away peacefully on August 28, 2012 at Provena McAuley Manor in Aurora.  He was born on July 14, 1932 to the late Lillian and Edward Ebbert.  Donald is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beverly; his son Steve (Laura) Ebbert of Athens, Georgia; Daughter-in-law Peg Ebbert of Pierre Part, Louisiana; his grandchildren Rayanne, Travis and Ali Ebbert and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter Janice, son Michael and his brother and sister-in-laws David and June Porch and Richard and Beatrice Porch.  Donald served in the U.S. Navy honorably.  He was a member of the Batavia Moose Lodge and Batavia VFW.  He retired from Western Electric after 30 years of service. A memorial reception will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Batavia Moose Lodge, 1532 South Batavia Ave., Batavia.  Graveside services will be private.
