Jane E. Wagner Gaffney

Jane E. “Judy” Wagner Gaffney, age 86, of West Chicago, formerly of St. Charles, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born September 22, 1925, in Oak Park, the daughter of Paul and Jane (Allen) Milnamow. Judy was very much a “people person” and enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved her family and vacationing in Florida. She was a member of the Pottawatomie Garden Club, St. Charles Country Club, and a very special “bridge club”. She is survived by her children, Jack (Bette) Wagner of St. Charles, Mike (Joan) Wagner of St. Charles, Jane (Steve) Strait of Sudbury, MA, Dave (Corinne) Wagner of NM, Jim Wagner of St. Charles, Dan (Sue) Wagner of St. Charles, Bobby Wagner of Misercordia Home Heart of Mercy, Steve Wagner of Oswego; twenty-one grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, and her dear friend Mario Matatesta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Wagner, her second husband James Gaffney, her son Paul Wagner, daughter Ann Lishamer, and her brother John Milnamow. Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL. Funeral services will begin with prayers from the funeral home 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 10, 2012 before proceeding to St. Patrick Catholic Church 400 Cedar Street St. Charles, IL to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Prairie Cemetery.
