Helen C.E. Miller

July 17, 1929 - September 21, 2012

Helen C.E. Miller, age 83, of Batavia, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva. Mrs. Miller attended Calvary Baptist Church in Geneva.  She retired from Community Hospital in Geneva after 10 years of service.  She was well known for her home made knitted slippers and pumpkin bread.  Her love and affection for her family and friends was felt with every warm hug.  She is survived by her loving children; Tom (Hannah) Miller, Marie (Tom) Hinterlong, Marjorie (Emil) Smith, Joe (Mary) Miller, Shirley (Fred) Talip, and Patricia (Drake) Miller; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip V. Miller; her son, Michael Eugene; her grandson, Bradley; her parents, William Ernest and Sophia Elizabeth Gaede, five brothers, Albert, Henry, Harvey, Wallace, and William; and three sisters, Amanda, Dorothy, and Margaret.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. (Rt. 31) in Batavia.  Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia.
