  • Arlene Kirwan and Martin Kirwan I learned of Russ's name just last night at dinner. We were celebrating what would have been my parents 68 anniversary. In videoing Dad's story of how he met my Mom, he spoke at length of zruss and how they used to take the train from New London to NYC for entertainment. At one of the enlisted men's clubs they met my Mother :-). Mom just passed away last year of cancer as well, but Dad is going strong. I owe a debt to Russ, without him neither I nor Dad's descendants would exist. Our deepest sympathy.
