Barry Shields

February 10, 1957 - October 11, 2012

Barry Shields, 55, of Batavia, passed away at home of natural causes on Thursday, October 11, 2012. A graduate of West Aurora High School, Barry recently retired from General Mills after thirty plus years of service. He was an avid golfer and St. Louis Cardinals fan.  He will be greatly missed by his sister, Marsha (David) Marzo; sister-in-law, Kathy (Mike) Shields; numerous nieces and one nephew and many friends.  Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Doris Shields; and a brother, Mike.  There will be no visitation and all funeral services are private.  In lieu of flowers or contributions, please remember Barry in your prayers.
