Frank J. Rehak, 84, of Geneva, formerly of Batavia, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was born June 4, 1928 in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Anna (nee David) Rehak. He was united in marriage to Lorraine Galloway on May 6, 1950 in Chicago. Frank loved being outdoors. He enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening, and bird watching. He collected and built model trains and railroads. He enjoyed sharing his train hobby with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lorraine; children, Kathleen (David) Buettner, Carol (Kenneth) Rojek, and John (Mary LaVieri) Rehak; his grandchildren, Allison and Jonathan Buettner, Kristin Rojek (Luke) Sharp and Dr. Brian Rojek, Joseph (Carolyn Dispensa) Rehak, and Steven (Allyse Stombres) Rehak; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Lauren Sharp. Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. in Batavia. Funeral services will begin at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 with prayers at the funeral home before processing to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 West Main Street, Batavia to celebrate a Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
