Nicole June Parlette, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born May 16, 1986 in Sycamore, IL, the daughter of Robert Parlette and Susan Ward.
Nicole was an art student as well as a passionate artist and world enthusiast. Few things evaded her imagination and many times became inspiration for her work. She was a lover of all things innocent in nature; from the animals at the Midwest Museum of Natural history, to the children at the Art Attack in Sycamore, she found brightness in her world by sharing it.
She is survived by her mother, Susan Ward of St. Charles; her father, Robert Parlette of Lisle; sister, Sarah (Serafin) Parra of Sycamore; brother, Kent Maercker of Geneva; and nephews Elijah and Fin of Sycamore.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Allan (Dorothy) Ward, and William (Betty) Parlette.
Memorial visitation will be held from 3:30 P.M. until 4:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third Street (three blocks west of the river and one block south of Rt. 64) in St. Charles, where a memorial service will follow the visitation at 4:30 P.M.
