Wade McIntosh

March 15, 1953 - January 2, 2013

Wade McIntosh, 59, of Batavia passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at his residence in Batavia, IL.  He was born March 15, 1953 in Germany the son of John Wade and Betty (nee Frentz) McIntosh.  Wade has been employed by Midwest Roofing and Siding Inc for many years.  He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen McIntosh of North Aurora, Sharon (Jeff) Davis of Batavia, Nicolette (Martin) Jensen of Batavia, Judith (Kim) Gardner of Batavia, Barbara (James) Kuykendall of Maple Park; a brother Keith (Debra) McIntosh of Montgomery; seventeen nieces and nephews; eighteen great-nieces and nephews; and a uncle, William (Joanne) Frentz of Cos Cob, CT. and a special companion his dog Zoe.  He is preceded in death by his wife Lori and his parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. (Rt. 31) in Batavia.  Funeral services will follow the visitation 1:00 P.M  Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.

  • mark king wade was a true friend who was willing to help others without expectations of any return. he loved to camp with many of us in wisconson on an island we named gilligan's. we all have great memories of this. i will remember him as always having his camera ready at events and get togethers. oh yea wado tomato grew the best tomatoes i ever had ! gonna miss you wade ! your friend sparky.
