Maxwin H. Heimann, age 87, of St. Charles, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2013 in St. Charles. He was born February 12, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the son of Max and Erna (nee Droxler) Heimann. He was united in marriage to Bonita I. Heimann.
Max was a very active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and served as an usher for many years. He and Bonita have also been active members of Fox Valley Mixers. Max was an architect and his work can be seen in several homes within the Fox Valley area.
He is survived by his children, John Heimann of Elgin and Jill Myers of St. Charles; three grandchildren, Casey, David (Heather), and Ryan (Sarah Fowke) Myers; and four great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Lily, Emma, and Henry.
In addition to his parents, Max is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonita; and his brother, George Heimann.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third Street (three blocks west of the river and one block south of Rt. 64) in St. Charles.
Funeral services will begin with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. Monday, January 7, 2013, before proceeding to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 400 Cedar Street in St. Charles for Mass at 10:00 A.M. Monsignor Joseph Linster celebrant. Interment will follow in Whitney Cemetery in Wasco.
