Robert Alan Ludvigsen

August 5, 1945 - January 14, 2013

Robert Alan Ludvigsen, 67, of Batavia Township and formerly of Geneva passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at his home.  He was born August 5, 1945 in Chicago the son of Raymond and Gertrude (nee Makila) Ludvigsen. Bob was employed by Strathmore Printing in Geneva for more then 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Bob was a member of the Will County Sportsman Club.  He is survived by his wife Jodie Ludvigsen; six children Cora (Lloyd Hiraoka) Ludvigsen of St. Charles, Maria (Jason) Berg, Jacob Ludvigsen, Sarah (Carlos)  Ludvigsen-Castaneda, Bryan Ludvigsen and Lilly Berrend all of Batavia; and eight grandchildren; two brothers Ronald (Betty) Ludvigsen, and Rodney (Beth) Ludvigsen, and a sister Ruth (Bryce) Zacharias.  He is preceded in death by his father Raymond.  Visitation will be held 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 5:00 P.M.
