Carl Edward Hirt, 70, of Batavia, IL and Spread Eagle, WI, passed away January 16, 2013. Caring and supportive  husband of Linda (nee Wilde); loving father of Cori (Sean) O’Brien of Batavia, Stacey (Jason) St. Onge of Geneva, and Brad Hirt of Chicago; adored grandfather of Erin, Morgan, Casey, and Sean O’Brien, Addy and Aliyah St. Onge; fond brother of Diane Hirt of Niles; thoughtful brother-in-law Art (Hedy) Wilde of East Brunswick, NJ. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Bethany Lutheran Church 8 South Lincoln Street Batavia, IL, where visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
