Dena E. Poletto

March 29, 1912 - January 17, 2013

Dena E. Poletto, 100, of St. Charles formerly of Arlington Heights, IL passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at St. Patrick Residence in Naperville, IL. Dena was born March 29, 1912 in Italy the daughter of Peter and Virginia Pacini.  She was united in marriage to Thomas Poletto.  Dena was employed by Schutter Candy Manufacturing as an Administrative Assistant.  Following her retirement she contributed to her church parish, St. Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights.  She started the St. Edna Senior Club and the St. Edna Sewing committee.  She is survived by her daughter Elaine Bond of St. Charles IL; nine grandchildren Kimberly Starosto, Kristi Ebel, Kenneth Bond, Korine (Richard) Buffini, Kelli Drake, Tommy (Susan) Poletto, Dena (Robert) Kleffman, Brian Poletto and Lisa Poletto; twenty three great-grandchildren Chad, Brittany, Brogan Ebel, Ryan Starosto, Breanna, Richard, Hailey and Kiera Buffini as well as 15 others; and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas A. Poletto and a son Thomas P. Poletto.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street St. Charles IL. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 North Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL.  A second visitation will be held 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Church.  Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
