Jeanne M. Samuels

April 20, 1949 - February 4, 2013

Jeanne M. Samuels, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, age 63, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, February 4, 2013 at her residence in St. Charles.  She was born April 20, 1949 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Henry and Loretta (nee Ludwig) Krapfl.  She was united in marriage to Bradley Samuels on July 17, 1991 in Geneva, IL.

 She is survived by her beloved husband, Bradley of St. Charles; her children, Carrie Menke (Keith) Metzler of Huntley, Dan (Jami) Menke of Palatine, Jonathan Menke of Abu Dhabi, UAE, Joey Samuels of St. Charles, Jacob Samuels of St. Charles, and Amanda Samuels of Carol Stream; three grandchildren, Kyle, Sara, and Lauren Metzler; her siblings, Jon (Jan) Krapfl of Williamsburg, VA, JoAnn (John) Moore of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Marge (Dan) Cash of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and Tricia (Bruce) Eastmond of Downers Grove, IL; and several nieces and nephews and dear friends.

 Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third St. (three blocks west of the river and one block south of Rt. 64) in St. Charles. 

 Funeral services will begin with prayers at the funeral home at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, before proceeding to St. Patrick Parish, 400 Cedar Street in St. Charles, for Mass at 11:00 A.M.  A private interment will take place in St. Francis Cemetery in Dyersville, Iowa.
