Donald Judson Adair

December 11, 1926 - February 10, 2013

Donald Judson “Don” Adair, age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Michealsen Health Center in Batavia, IL.  He was born December 11, 1926 in Chicago Heights, IL the son of Charley Ray and Luvie Ethel (nee Gunyon) Adair.  He was united in marriage to Shirley Mae Osterberg on October 24, 1950 in Chicago Heights.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley; his children, Charles L. (Nancy) Adair of Wheaton and Claude D. (Andrea) Adair of Fairport, NY, Kenneth D. (Anna-Maria) Adair of Homer Glen, IL, and Joan E. (Brad) Zetterlund of Pleasanton, CA; grandchildren, Timothy (Rebekah) Adair, Thomas (Leah) Adair, Katelyn (Justin) Lane, Kelli Adair, Carl Adair, Ellie Adair, Kurt (Laura) Adair, and Camilla Adair, David and Kimberly Zetterlund; great-grandson, Camden Adair; a sister-in-law, Lois (Gene) Skooglund; and a brother-in-law, Ernest Westman.  In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Elaine Westman.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. (Rt. 31) in Batavia.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Batavia Covenant Church, 1314 Main Street, in Batavia.  Private interment will be in West Batavia Cemetery in Batavia.
